Hi Akos
Only stopped there fairly briefly last week so I must have missed the
Browns. The Baillon's image is fantastic - thanks for posting it. The
grebes were in their usual place close to the beginning of the causeway
on the main lagoon - I have noticed they sometimes move further out
later in the day. Should still be relatively easy to spot given their
distinctive head shape.

You mentioned no Brown Songlarks. My friend photographed an unknown bird
along Cornwallis Road yesterday morning and Graham Turner identified it
for us as we are not very smart and had no idea. Anyway, he said male
Brown Songlark.
Also, wonder where the Crested Grebes were at Bushells? I was there late
yesterday and couldn't see any, but saw what I am sure was a Marsh
Sandpiper and two Baillon's Crakes instead, see one image here:
