Hi all, During the night I was awoken at 2:30am by the call of a Powerful Owl. Could not spot it as it went silent as I approached closer. It was quite high up in the eucalypts about 15-20 metres from our house. This is only the second PO we have heard calling within our 5 acre yard in 16 years, and the last time was in January this year and coincidentally it was also around 2:30am. I am hopeful we have a breeding pair nearby.
