Saw my first Channel-billed Cuckoo and Eastern Koel of the season today.
The Channel-billed was at the Coldstream River near Cowper and the Koel (an
adult male) was at Gillett's Ridge, near Tucabia, north coast NSW. Leaden
Flycatchers and Sacred Kingfishers have been back at a number of sites for
over a week.
