Subject: Birding-Aus message
Hi Russell,
Thanks for your assistance with this. Eileen's computer is down at
the moment, so she has asked if you can post this message on Birding-
Aus on our behalf:
As many on this list will be aware a release of captive-bred Regent
Honeyeaters was undertaken in Chiltern-Mt Pilot National Park
earlier in the year. The birds are becoming increasingly difficult
to locate at the moment and a number haven't been located for a
while, so we are requesting any information (particularly
photographs) that people may have taken of the birds while visiting
the park. We are more interested in photos or sightings from the
past few weeks, but any longer than that would also be appreciated.
If anyone has any of this information (in particular date and
location of images/sightings) it would be great if they could
provide them to Dean Ingwersen, Threatened Bird Network coordinator
at Birds Australia via email:
Thanks in advance.
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers, Dean
