Hi Birders, We need some keen birders to assist with inventory surveys of our newly acquired sanctuary in central Cape York, Piccaninny Plains. We can assist with transport from Cairns and will provide food and accommodation (camping in ringers shed and field camping along the Archer and Wenlock Rivers). It will be a great opportunity to see Palm Cockatoos, Trumpet Manucodes, Spotted Cuscus, Long-nosed Echymipera (bandicoots) etc. Cheers, Jeff Middleton Regional Ecologist (Queensland) Australian Wildlife Conservancy
