At about midday 7th Sept at Petersons Champagne House Pokolbin (Hunter Valley Wine District)we heard an unusual warble-type call from the small grove of she-oaks next to the carpark. The bird was a Spiny-cheeked Honeyeater, curious, unafraid, it came to within a couple of meters of us. (This was before Fathers Day lunch, all quite sober.)
