Whilst browsing the web the other day I came across a book "The 50 rarest
birds in the world" (http://www.camacdonald.com/birding/rarestbirds.html)
which would I thought make a good target list. A strange list though with
some extinct birds and some with populations in the thousands - the only
Aussie birds being Paradise Parrot and Abbott's Booby. No mention of OBPs or
any of our other scarce species.
