Hi

  I am visiting Australia from England for a couple of months and want to get 
as much birding in as possible whilst I am here. I am staying with my son in 
Caulfield.

  Over the next week I would like to get to good birding sites around the Bass 
Strait area.  Can anyone recommend sites to go to around there to see birds 
which may be around now but possibly not later in the year.    I have brought 
my bins and scope.

  All ideas will be gratefully received.
