Thank you for that.

 A friend asked her brother, a fisherman,  if he would be prepared to give
scientists working on this dolphin some information.  Apparently he and his
colleagues know quite a lot about it.

However,  he refused to help.  I gather from the comments reported to me
that Top End commercial fishermen don't trust scientists.  This man won't be
fishing for a long time as he is in jail (twelve years)  and one would think
he'd have nothing to lose, but he still wouldn't talk.

I wonder if there's another way of connecting with such people, and tapping
into their vast knowledge, for instance offering them  the chance to earn a
degree.
