Thanks to everyone that responded directly re problems with Hotmail and Birding-Aus (yes they did get through). Still haven't converted over but have started receiving some Birding-Aus e-mails (though usually only the initial one of a thread and a day late). I will give it a couple more days and then switch to my other e-mail if it doesn't work properly.
