In the latest issue of New Scientist there is an interesting article on the 
latest tracking devises being used to crack the mysteries of bird migration. 

Tells how E7 the Godwit flew non stop 10,000 kms in 8 days and 30,000 kms in a 
six month period!

Worth grabbing a copy at your newsagency.
