Everyone,

Spent a very wet, non birding day in Port Macquarie NSW yesterday.

On the drive up we saw 2 Radjah Shelducks beside the Pacific Hwy in the middle
of Bulahdelah! These would be the famous Mungo Brush pair but in the middle of
town!!

Torresian Crows and Figbirds were in the main street of Port. A walk along the
coast revealed White-cheeked and Lewin's Honeyeater, Little Wattlebird, Grey
Goshawk, many Aust. Gannets (50+) and several unidentifed mollymawks and
'fluttering' type shearwaters.

On the drive home we passed through Lake Cathie where in a residental frontyard
there were no less then 23 Drongos feeding on the drive way and perched on the
overhead wires and balcony railing. Is it common for them to gathering like
this in Winter?

Cheers,
Grant Brosie
