Hi Carol,
Female Crested Bellbird it is, the wedgebill is a much 'thinner' looking
bird and seldom comes out into the open like this one seems to.
I've never actually seen Chirruping Wedgebill at Bowra (have been on
numerous occasions) but they can be seen nearby on the main road between
Cunnamulla and Eulo. You usually find them when you hear their 'budgie-like'
calls and see them on top of domed-lignum bushes.
