If one aspires to the pretentiously dizzying heights of our leading tick artists then one needs to tick everything one sees be it feral, ship assisted, magically transported, or whatever. On the other hand if this aspiration doesn't exist for you just leave birds off your list and keep it short and neat with no question marks. Er, obvious escapes should probably left out but defining these is often fraught with doubt. Oh dear.
