RFI Brisbane Lamington NP

Hi all,
I will be in Brisbane twice for business soon and might take my wife Raja with 
me. In both cases it will be a Thu/Fri meeting and we could add a weekend: 
(17./18.)-19./20. July and (7./8.)-9./10. August. Unfortunately, this does not 
seem to be the best birding season. We are especially interested in the 
specialties of the region.
Do you have any advice for birding at Lamington NP (or other places) at these 
dates?
Is someone from the Brisbane area planning to go to Lamington NP (or other good 
birding places) at these dates and could we join them?
