Thanks for the tip-off, Graham - managed to drop by Maroubra on the way home
from work today, and saw ten humpbacks in several pods within the space of
half an hour at sunset. An awesome thing to see. Not much doing in terms of
birdlife - one Nankeen Kestrel and plenty of Aust. Gannets and Silver Gulls
over the water and New Hollands in the heath - but still well worth the walk
out to the point.
