Hi all, I haven't seen any other message about this, but it seems that access to the sand-spit at Penrhyn has been cut off. All the bush on the dunes has been removed, and it looks like the docks are being somewhat expanded. As long as the spit is still there, I guess its good for the birds, but it's not so good when you're trying to show someone Double-banded Plovers!
