Their gold colour is so hard that the blooms seem to be metalic.Regards, Alan GHu Alan and birding-aussersI won't pretend to be a smart person, I just happen to have handy a copy of the Concise Brit ish Flora in Colour - Caltha palustris is Marsh Marigold, Kingcup or Mollyblobs - I've never heard the 3rd common name, which sounds lovely.
