Hi Evan,
I know your comment was tongue in cheek, but I thought I should point out
you could never eradicate rats near your place. Eradication means total
removal, which is why eradication from a whole island is a pretty amazing
feat. The best you could hope for on the mainland at this stage is
temporary control.
