We saw Grass Owl at the place suggested at Cooloola in Thomas and Thomas (from the firebreak itself, not the walking track) as the light was failing on July 30 last year. As we saw Ground Parrots along the walking track in the morning and Black-breasted Buttonquails at Inskip Point, it was a pretty good day!
