Further to my earlier note below I note that Simpson and Day (7th Ed
p324) shows them nesting nearly all year round. Oh well, it's still nice
to have them even if this timing isn't unusual.

I have a pair of New Holland Honeyeaters building a nest just outside my
computer room window in a pittosporum bush. Because of the glass they
don't seem to notice me watching them. Isn't this a bit early for them
to be nesting?
