A Powerful owl was seen and photographed by Gavin Gatenby in the Wolli Valley Regional Park on 29th May. This is the first recording in the park area, although a pair were apparently seen by National Parks staff in the nearby Bardwell Valley in the last couple of years. Wolli Creek is in Sydney's inner south west. To see the photos go to the Wolli Creek Preservation Society site http://www.wollicreek.org.au/books.html and at the bottom of the page is a link to their birding Wiki Wolli Creek bird sighting WIKI<http://www.scribblygumwiki.net/regulars/wcps/>- Chris =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
