And when there are a group of male birds assisting/engaging in the 'forced copulation' with a single unwilling female bird, an appropriate term would be - 'gang forced copulation' pack .... flock..... single gender flock ..... ??? While this behaviour is common in domestic chooks and so may be dismissed as behaviour resulting from domestication, I did observe such behaviour recently with my resident wild/feral sparrows!
