Hi Evan

Try Nurragingy Reserve in Doonside. They were there all afternoon when I was there on a family picnic on Mother's Day. they were on the western side of the lake (on the opposite side the lake of the function hall). If you don't see them there, drive around the general area with window's down and listen out for them. I may have also heard them at home on the Anzac long weekend and will not be surprised if they are around Greystanes or Seven Hills again this year.

Once you know their call and tune in to them, you find that they are fairly regular in parts of Sydney.
