Michael,The debate over what to name a 'collared turtle dove' and whether it should be listed on the Australian list or whether it can be ticked on a twitchers list has been waging on Birding-aus for years. So I choose not to fuel it, and will happily agree that the 'collared turtle doves' I saw at Featherdale a few years ago were indeed Barbary Dove Streptopelia roseogrisea. kurtis Lindsay |
