I called ABC yesterday so find out what happened as
here in Northern Vic we lost the programme completely
from 8.15 and didn't get it back at all, very
disappointing.See below:

I apologize for the disruption to your viewing last
night.
There was a studio fault, which affected the input to
our satellite services for Victoria (analog and
digital) and Queensland (digital). Unfortunately,
this meant that viewers in regional Victoria had no
signal from 8.06pm to 8.42pm. This affected Land of
Parrots (7.30pm to 8.25pm) and East of Everything
(8.30pm to 9.25pm). I am very sorry for the
interruption to viewing caused by this problem.
The ABC does have the rights to re-screen Land of
Parrots, and East of Everything, though no dates have
been scheduled to re-screen these programs at this
stage.
Due to the nature of the fault (there was no signal
going to the satellites), it was not possible to
advise viewers of the problem. However, every effort
was made to rectify the fault as soon as possible.
Again, I am very sorry that you missed out on viewing
Land of Parrots.
Kind regards

We'll have to wait for the dvd in June,
