Hi Birders, My wife and I have 2 weeks (but will be more like 17 days) for a holiday in the last week in June. We were originally thinking of Darwin to Alice by 4wd (we've never been to the Territory, let alone the Big Rock) but after seeing the parrots last night we've started considering a trip to Iron Range NP. What are the logistics like getting there? And any other opinions on the Darwin-Alice option? I'm not afraid of some big driving days and consider a 1000k day totally acceptable.
