Hi everyone. I noticed, late today, a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo perched on a street light near my house. This area is frequented by a large flock of Long-billed and Little Corella's which come to a very genorous lady's bird-feeder (how she gets enough seed, I don't know). The SCC looked slightly awkward, but showed the clear signs of a cockatoo. I couldn't see its head very well until it flew down to the bird-feeder next to another SCC which did have a crest. From what I could see it had no bright, yellow crest just a slightly raised white tuft. Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Max. Sydney... P.S. Possible Cockatoo-Corella hybrid? =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
