Hello all, we were having a picnic at Lucinda (between Townsville and Cairns) this afternoon when one of our sons spotted and took a couple of photos of this wader. It was on its own, the tide was very low, the only other shore birds were a stack of Red-capped Plovers and 2 beach stone curlew. http://img176.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wader2sb5.jpg http://img108.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wader1lh5.jpg We'd appreciate some help, I cant match up the features but no doubt one of you knowledgeable folk will. Thanks in advance Martin =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
