Tim
I'm sorry that AG didn't acknowledge you. As a biological/cross-cultural
consultant I am often asked to "help out" media organisations.
Unfortunately, in my experience, too many behave in this way. And it's not
just the publishing companies.

One of the worst was a Hollywood bunch attached to one of the big film
companies for whom my Indigenous relatives and I organised a trip. Never
heard another thing. My relatives in particular were not happy.

Even little things can be important. There was the American herpetologist
who accompanied us out to Baby Dreaming, and promised us a CD of the
reptiles he photographed. It never arrived. That was years ago and my
relatives still remember. He has rather spoiled things for other scientists
who may wish to work out there.

My thanks for putting AG onto me. Apart from any other benefits I was able
to meet up with photographer David Hancock whom I hadn't seen in many years.

Kind regards
Denise
