I was up at the Cheetham salt ponds on Monday afternoon (14/4) until about 5pm (high tide was ~1915 hr) and didn't see any Godwits in their usual roosting sites. The only other shorebirds I saw were 17 Gray Plovers, 35 Common Greenshanks, 1 Marsh Sandpiper ,~25 R-N Stints, ~6 Red-capped Plovers. There were also plenty of Blk-winged and Banded Stilts.
