The link provided by Ian May on a "Global Warming Conference" goes straight
to the 'Heartland Institute' of Chicago. You can get a flavor for who this
"authoritive" institute is by having a look around the website.
Unfortunately nobody provides filters for loony right, free market "think
tanks" (oxymoron?). These are a variety of the same people that gave us
securitized subprime mortgages and we know how useful that has been. Let
stick with some science and leave the snake oil salespeople to Michael
Costa. Ciao
