A quick Google search and this from Birds Australia:
'The Red-tailed Black-Cockatoo is a big black parrot with a short crest, a
stubby beak and a long tail...'

However the only thing resembling the Red-tailed Whatever at Wollombi would
be the Glossy Black-Cockatoo.

Greetings all,

I think I've learnt something new today........the Redtailed Black Parrot. I
was looking at some eco-sites and one site in reference to Wollombi,
mentioned the parrot. I do think I meant the Red Tailed Black Cockatoo. Has
anyone else heard of the term...'Redtailed Black Parrot'?

Rob
