A quick summary of the personal emails I received. Note that all

Now I would have liked to let it run all day, but my understanding of
AF day was that you had to reveal your joke by midday else you become
the fool. Does anyone else know that rule? Anyway, here are the

Mudlarks, Starlings, etc do similar things by coming in through open
doors. A car hatch is large enough for a bird to think it safe to enter
- better than trying to fly through picture windows anyway.
Just wait til next year, I'll get you if I remember in time.
Try this ( true) bit of info. I have ferals, Starlings, Sparrows, and
Good old Blackbirds nesting in my roof and around the garden. We love
them all and never interfere with their nesting efforts. Unfortunately
our nesting Kookaburras prey on them quite a bit which makes us sad."
