Good Morning birders, Just a quick summary of some highlights over the last week. I've been a bit slack... Thursday I was a pair of Collared Sparrowhawks (by size, didn't get the bins onto them) chasing each other around flirtatiously in the eucalypts above Lapstone Rail. Needless to say the Noisies (miners and Friars) were not impressed. The Gang-Gangs are back, a family of about 4 have been seen regularly going between the gullies where the good trees are. Saw a Square-tailed Kite rowing leisurely along the cliff line at Mt Piddington on Saturday. Apart from our local birds this is the first I've seen. Some thoughts on Glossies to follow.
