Subject: | Probable Black-tailed Gull, Waratah Bay area, Victoria, NOT YET CONFIRMED |

Having just seen a still from the video recorded yesterday, I retract my
statement that the Black-tailed Gull at Waratah Bay is confirmed. The bird
seen yesterday at Bear Creek was a third year Pacific Gull. It differs
somewhat from the partial description of the bird seen on Friday. Several
birders are searching today so far without luck.
And people wonder why we need BARC!
