It took me about as long to get that rail too and again 3 trips to Darwin. But
no I still have not seen the speckled warbler even although I live in Victoria.
I have seen Noisy Scrub-bird, all the grasswrens etc - a lot of difficult
birds in other states but no speckled warbler or for that matter Sooty Owl!!
I think we all have bogey birds.
