I agree John. Having seen them on 2 1/2 continents, travelling 500 KM
to see a bird which can be seen in any one of a dozen or so wildfowl
collections is a bit too extravagant for me.

You may be right Chris, but it's a damn shame the relevant authorities
couldn't leave the birds running free so we could all twitch them.
