Not so much experience with Galahs mimicking Corellas, but they are quite 'close'! Some years ago, living in Bogabilla (northern NSW) our neighbours had a caged Galah, to which lots of wild Galahs visited, and they fed them. For around 40 years, a 'pair' of a Galah and a Little Corella had been visiting regularly - each year bringing their hybrid offspring. The young never lasted more than a season - I guess predators and/or the flock are specially hard on such hybrids.

I've heard of people deliberately breeding hybrid parrots, but this was an interesting and long-lasting 'natural' hybridization.

While we were there, the Corella was hit by a car on the highway and killed, and so after about 40 years, the visits stopped.
