Hi All Further to my post a couple of days ago-the Rock Parrots at Busby Islet, Kangaroo Island, were feasting on the green fruits of Suaeda australis. This is a very important food source for this species after arriving here from breeding grounds elsewhere. Also, Acaena sp. (Bidgee Widgee Burr), is very important in their KI diet.
