Dear Birders, Just to let everyone know the Hudwit was seen earlier in the summer but has since disappeared. There are currently no Black-tailed Godwits anywhere in the Saltfields with which it associates. Where they have gone this summer is anybody's guess. The usual pattern is that they return to the saltfields early March for pre-migration. Will keep everyone informed if the Hudwit returns.
