I haven't heard of a plan - I know it has been suggested but would be
interested in any more detaisl on this. Some were transfered from Norfolk to
Lord Howe at some stage (can't find my copy of the McAllan et al document on
Birds of Lord Howe Island) but they didn't survive (probably because of rats).
I thought hybridisation with Blackbirds was considered one of the threats on
Norfolk, and so a lot more than rat control (if that is possible) would be
necessary on Lord Howe before introducing this species back.
