We went out, yet again, to Bulban Rd this morning, I saw the Peregrine
come by to check out who was where. The Lapwings( about 60) took to the sky
in two groups, I had a good look at each flock and could not see anything
different, so I dip again. I am fortunate that I live in Werribee so not
contributing to the carbon emissions too much !
We came via WTP, as yesterday morning we saw a Buff-banded Rail and although
Doug a couple of excellent shots there is always the hope of doing better.
That was a fruitless exercise this morning too. We are gob-stopped by the
rapid drying of the ponds, very little area for the waders left!
