With Steve Davidson and Andrew Hurnard at 8.30 this morning, saw 1 Baillon's, 1
adult and lots of juvenile Spotted, 1 Spotless Crake and 1 Lewin's Rail at the
pond.

Low water level has produced good mudflats and brought them out into the open.

Thanks guys for spotting the Lewin's, and for pointing out the difference
between Baillon's and Spotted. Some of the Baillon's previously reported when
seen at a distance may have been Spotless.

Also flushed some Brown Quail just north of the pond last night.
