Hi Paul,
The dates don't seem to match, unless you extend your stay. This is from the Cumberland Bird Observers Club website:-
     January 27, 2008
     Sunday 8.00am Deep Creek/Warriewood Wetlands
Meet in the car park in Deep Creek Reserve off Wakehurst Parkway, Narrabeen. Target Species: Baillon's Crake, Black Bittern, Osprey, Buff-banded Rail, Brush Bronzewing.
Habitat: Heathland, Melaleuca wetland and bush creek.
Walking Gradient: Easy to moderate - at Deep Creek there are narrow bush tracks with some exposed roots and rocks and steps may be encountered; at Warriewood there is a boardwalk and level bush tracks.
     Leader: Tony Peri 9405 2052

I'm free most days and Royal National Park also accessable from Sydney - that's always worth a visit. Give us a call if you're able and interested:- 9484 3362
Regards,
Peter Madvig, Beecroft (Sydney).
