Hi Greg,

I don't agree that the arrival of the Cattle Egret in Australia is artificial in any way. However its success here, its proliferation, has undoubtedly been influenced by the introduction of cattle by man. Another apparent natural recent immigrant from New Zealand, assuming not previously overlooked, is the White-fronted Tern. I wonder if they pose a threat to our 'vulnerable' Fairy Tern, therefore demanding action to remove same?
