Same here in the Newcastle area.  I've seen 80+ birds together some
times.

Hi Peter,

We regularly observe flocks of Masked Lapwings in the Clarence Valley,
north
coast NSW, presumably post-breeding.  Flocks of 40+ are not uncommon and

some flocks number in their 70s.
