Duncan

I saw a completely yellow YTBC several years ago and I have heard reports
of the same or similar birds up and down the east coast over the years.

I would have to check my journal for the details but I was driving on the
Western Highway near Ararat-Beaufort in Victoria when I saw what I first
thought to be a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo flying with two YTBCs. However,
the shape was wrong and as they flew closer I could see that all three were
YTBCs. The yellow bird wasn't completely yellow but had thin black margins
around each feather.

The one on your blog has very different colouration to the one I saw.

Regards

David (Melbourne)
