Salary range $72,099 - $84,158 (plus allowances)
The main responsibilities for the Manager, Christmas Island National
Park is to manage the day to day operations of the Park; implement the
Park’s Management Plan; and to provide effective leadership to staff.
The key skills required to fill this role involve strategic management
and high level communication capabilities.
In the short term the Christmas and Cocos (Keeling) Islands National
Parks are currently going through an organisational review which may
have further positive impacts on this position. The term within this
role will be 3-5 years.
