After taking loads of blurry photos I manage to get a couple of Red-winged fairy-wrens while I was in Margaret River. This one was interesting though I wish I had focussed better as the male behind has scattered blue feathers and black lores while in eclipse plumage as described in Rowleys book on Maluridae. http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Red_winged_wrens_Boranup_1_email.jpg For the record, also managed this: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Image:Red_winged_wren_MR_walk_3_email.jpg Cheers Cas Liber =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
